Psychiatrist & Psychotherapist

Specializing in Holistic Mental Health Care

Unlike a typical 15-minute primary care visit, I dedicate a full 55-minute initial session to each of my patients. This ensures that you are heard and understood, allowing us to work together on a thorough evaluation and treatment planning.

Comprehensive Care for a Range of Conditions

I treat a variety of psychiatric conditions, including:

  • Anxiety

  • Depression

  • Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD)

  • Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)

Whether you’re dealing with the complexities of these conditions for the first time or seeking a new approach to ongoing challenges, I am here to help.

About Me

I provide virtual sessions to anyone in Illinois or New York State.

I am a Mount Sinai-trained adult psychiatrist passionate about helping individuals achieve optimal health by focusing on their mental well-being.

My approach integrates therapy, medication when appropriate, and evidence-based lifestyle enhancements such as improving sleep, nutrition, and mindfulness to support a balanced, healthy life.

I believe in partnering with each patient to create a personalized treatment plan that honors their unique journey. By addressing mental health holistically—considering the body, mind, culture, and society—I help individuals find paths that lead to sustainable, long-term well-being.

I am also committed to de-stigmatizing mental health and improving access to care within the South Asian community. I understand the cultural factors that can often hinder open discussions about mental health and well-being. With this insight, I offer culturally sensitive care that resonates with my patients’ lived experiences, while creating a safe, non-judgmental space for them to explore their mental health concerns.

Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, or life transitions, I’m here to work with you in achieving the mental clarity and resilience needed to thrive.
